On March 15, the "Yonggangyin 02", China's first 40m-class hybrid pilot boat equipped with CSSC Ship Electric Technology Co.,Ltd.’s S-Renewable Hybrid Power System, was successfully delivered and officially set sail at Ningbo Zhoushan Port. On March 17, People’s Daily published a dedicated report on this milestone, highlighting the transformation of pilot boat electrification. This recognition further cements CSSC Ship Electric Technology Co.,Ltd.’s role as a key player in advancing maritime electrification.
The delivery of "Yonggangyin 02" marks a breakthrough in the hybrid pilot boat sector and signifies CSSC Ship Electric Technology Co.,Ltd.’s deepening involvement in port vessel electrification. Built by Jiangxi Jiangxin Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for Ningbo Dagang Pilotage Co., Ltd., the vessel will provide pilotage services for domestic and international ships entering and exiting Ningbo Zhoushan Port, ensuring navigational safety and efficiency.
