CSSC Ship Electric Technology Co.,Ltd. Successfully Obtains BV Type Approval Certificate for Its LFP Battery System

On June 11, 2025, CSSC Ship Electric Technology Co.,Ltd. successfully obtained the Type Approval Certificate from Bureau Veritas (BV) for its lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery system, marking a significant step toward entering international shipbuilding projects.

To date, CSSC Ship Electric Technology Co.,Ltd. has leveraged its strong technical capabilities to achieve full in-house development and production of battery packs (modules compatible with top brands such as CATL and EVE Energy) as well as its own BMS (Battery Management System) product line. These products have now successfully obtained type approval certificates from both the China Classification Society (CCS) and Bureau Veritas (BV)—two of the most recognized classification societies worldwide.
